PRODUCTIVITY
Many of our Nigerian youth, after graduation, spend the rest of their lives looking for jobs endlessly.
We believe that education that truly works should be able to prepare and train students to create jobs in the face of job scarcity.
Additionally, many of the major problems that Nigeria suffers from today stem from the fact that, as a country, we can produce and export little to nothing to other countries.
We teach our students to create what they need from what they have.
How we do it
Every school term, the school management decides on five common items to focus on for that term.
Students, first, learn how to draw these.
Then, they learn how to make models of the simple object using simple materials like mud, paper, plastic, and other recyclable material around them.
Excursions are arranged to a place that produces one or two of the items. So, students can observe its production in progress.
With such an in-depth, hands-on introduction to the production process, our students learn what production involves thoroughly enough to replicate it themselves.
